Never Liked Me

 I was doing the dishes last night, and random rhymes were flowing threw my head, and I thought, "I have got to type this down."  And so, here we are. 😄


Never Liked Me


Katie never liked me,

Tim couldn’t care less.

Sue, Fred, and Donald

Say I always make a mess.

 

Molly never liked me,

Bobby always stared.

Whenever George sees me,

He screams and runs scared.

 

David never liked me,

Jacob hates me so.

Mallory accuses me

Of ripping up her bow.


Stefan never liked me,

Ron sticks out his tongue.

Emmy seems to think

I left her doll out in the sun.

 

Why all the kids don’t like me,

I really can’t say why.

I really never kicked or hit

or made anyone cry.

(Except that tiny incident way back in July)

A Word About Time

        Dear Diary, Today, I was thinking about the strange concept of time. I mean, what is it? It was really bugging me, so I came up with several things to what time is. 60 seconds is a minute. That’s time. 60 minutes is an hour. That’s time. 24 hours is a day. That’s time. The herb in you spice cupboard. That’s thyme. Time ticks. Time tocks. Time flies. Time runs out. Time has many uses. It can be used for doing something or doing nothing. Things can be done in time and on time. Time can be wasted, raced against, given, taken, saved, lost, and spent. Things tend to go faster when there is very little time and will sometimes slowdown when there’s time aplenty. And thyme also tastes good in food. So… What is time? Sincerely, Sima
