If I Were To...

Note: Last night, I had a dream that I was performing on Americas Got Talent, and I must say, definetly one of my top ten favorite dreams I've ever had, right up there with me winning Masterchef Junior and my family going to Disney World. So I woke up this morning, exhilarated and slightly disapointed, but with a great inspiration for a poem, and here we are.

If I were to Audition for Americas Got Talent,

I would bring a mallet.

*Looks at mallet*

Never mind.

But I would bring something fuzzy,

So the judges wouldn’t buzz me.

*Waits a few seconds*

Is the fuzz working?

Good.

Now if I were to make it to make it to the next round,

I would wait for my turn by pacing around,

Saying some psalms,

Rubbing my palms,

Walking about and generally freaking out.

But if now I were to be given a golden buzzer,

*cough, judges that's your cue, cough*

I would process it for a second and then for another.

And then I will scream,

Kinda like this: EEEEEE!!!!

Because I’ll know it’s not a dream

 like it usually is.
