One Last Time-Dumbledore and Snape

Snape    Dumbledore

 

*Snape walks into Dumbledore’s office.*

Snape: Albus? You asked to see me?

Dumbledore: I know you’re busy.

Snape: Uhh… Well… Wait, why are you singing-

Dumbledore: I want to give you a word of warning.

Snape: Sir, I’m not sure what you’ve been drinking, but whatever it is, you need to stop.

Dumbledore: Dolores Umbridge resigned this morning.

Snape: What are you talking about? Umbridge quit months ago.

Dumbledore: *Stops singing* Yeah, sorry, it was the only thing that would have made sense.

Snape: None of this makes sense.

Dumbledore: *Continues singing* I need a favor.

Snape: Whatever you say sir- NO! I’m not playing along with this behavior!

Dumbledore: Shhhh! Talk less!

Snape: What the heck? I’m already listening, you just won’t stop singing.

Dumbledore: I need you to draft an address.

Snape: What?

Dumbledore: Actually, don’t do that. This needs to stay secret.

Snape: Secret? Albus, what…?

Dumbledore: How do you feel about being headmaster?

Snape: *Scoffs* That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

Dumbledore: I’m stepping down, I’m not going to be headmaster.

Snape: Huh?

Dumbledore: I need you to kill me, Severus.

Snape: WHAT?!

Dumbledore: Also, Harry’s going to have to die too.

Snape: I’m sorry, WHAT NOW???

Dumbledore: ONE LAST TIIIIIIIIIIIIME!

Snape: Albus, what is this about?!

Dumbledore: What, did the singing not make the news easier?

A Word About Time

        Dear Diary, Today, I was thinking about the strange concept of time. I mean, what is it? It was really bugging me, so I came up with several things to what time is. 60 seconds is a minute. That’s time. 60 minutes is an hour. That’s time. 24 hours is a day. That’s time. The herb in you spice cupboard. That’s thyme. Time ticks. Time tocks. Time flies. Time runs out. Time has many uses. It can be used for doing something or doing nothing. Things can be done in time and on time. Time can be wasted, raced against, given, taken, saved, lost, and spent. Things tend to go faster when there is very little time and will sometimes slowdown when there’s time aplenty. And thyme also tastes good in food. So… What is time? Sincerely, Sima
